An English Summer Evening with Ormskirk Music Society

Our ‘comeback season’ drew to a close this Saturday with a memorable concert, featuring a UK first – a full performance of Haydn Wood’s A Bouquet of Happy Memories. The choir were joined by soloists Aimee Harris and Ian Dunning to bring this beautiful music to life.

 

Our regular trumpeter, Adrian Morris, stepped out front as a soloist and gave us a truly amazing performance of Haydn’s Trumpet Concerto. What an amazing achievement!

We have a packed season planned for 2022-3, kicking off with a special performance of Beethoven’s 5 Concerto, the mighty ‘Emperor’, featuring friend of the Society, Tom Kimmance. We hope you can join us again soon.
